Abstract
Potassium tris(oxalato)ferrate(III) trihydrate crystallises in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 7.7422(10), b = 19.9168(10), c = 10.3457(10) Å, β = 107.846(10)°, V = 1518.5(3) Å3, for Z = 4. The overall structure is comprised of [Fe(C2O4)3]3− octahedral units linked through potassium ions and hydrogen bonding between water molecules and oxalate anions giving a three-dimensional supramolecular network.
