Abstract
School counselors are called upon to use data to guide practice. Through a practitioner research study, the authors examined how elementary school counselors were using data in order to create a professional development opportunity that was specific to their professional needs. Findings provide insight into the complexities associated with elementary school counselors’ data use as part of expected work responsibilities.
