The International Journal of Integrated Care (IJIC) is an online, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original articles in the field of integrated care on a continuous basis.IJIC has an Impact Factor of 5.120 (2020 JCR, received in June 2021)
Highlights
In a Dutch region, various care and welfare organizations that support vulnerable elderly have joined forces in an integrated care network
The network has introduced an approach based on the concepts of Positive Health and Reablement
Observations revealed that participating professionals were enthusiastic about the new approach

Supporting integrated elderly care networks in working from a more demand- and person-oriented approach in the Netherlands ICIC20 Virtual Conference – September 2020 In a Dutch region, various care and welfare organizations that support vulnerable elderly have joined forces in an integrated care network. The network envisions that elderly should continue to live in their own familiar environment as long as possible and desirable, healthy, satisfied and independent. A demand- and person-oriented approach is necessary.
