Abstract

This paper presents a PMSM-Based integrated starter/generator (ISG) system for aerospace power system implementation. The ISG is connected to a diode rectifier to obtain a DC supply voltage. The voltage source inverter (VSI) connected with a link filter inductor is in shunt with the rectifier to keep the DC supply voltage constant under various load and to eliminate the harmonic current. The system with proportional-integral-resonance (PIR) and decoupling control strategy has a good transient response when encountering load variation and the power density is effectively improved. The whole system is simulated in SIMULINK and the simulation results are presented to validate the proposed ISG system.
