Abstract

This study aim was to analyze the supply chain performance of chayote vegetable in Semarang, Central Java Province, Indonesia. The survey was conducted from April to July 2019. The analytical method used was descriptive quantitative, namely research by describing the conditions in the field from several individuals interviewed directly. Respondents were determined purposively on farmer respondents and snowball sampling for marketing institutions. The results showed that the supply chain of chayote vegetables at the research location had clear market targets however there were problems in optimizing supply chain targets, namely information on prices at the farm level, knowledge of good quality. The measurement of supply chain performance was categorized quite efficiently based on the marketing efficiency approach by calculating the income margin and the farmer’s share.
