Abstract
Different technical variants of cooling plants for radioactive liquid waste (decontamination plants) for nuclear medicine facilities are presented. With the aid of modern measuring hardware and refined data analysis software, one can now guarantee nuclide-specific, gapless supervision and documentation of the activity inventory without any risk that personnel comes in contact with open radioactive or biologically critical material.
