Abstract
Extending previous work we derive, using Taha’s refined infinite-momentum method, new sum rules for the real parts of nonforward current-particle scattering amplitudes. The sum rules are based on covariance, causality, scaling, equal-time algebra and unsubtracted dispersion relations for the amplitudes. A comparison with the corresponding light-cone approach is made, and it is shown that the light-cone sum rules would also follow from the assumptions underlying the present work.
