Abstract

The research seeks to shed light on the role of Sultan Ghayath Al-Din Taghloq in the establishment of the Taghqiya State (720-725 AH / 1321-1325 AD), and he is one of the great Muslim sultans who ruled the Indian subcontinent. He brought back to Islam its dignity independence, and formed a regular army at the western borders in order to secure his country from out dangers, as well as his role in providing means of prosperity for his people. The research is based on a number of sources and references related to the history of Islamic India, as well as the introduction and conclusion.
