Abstract

•Gianotti-Crosti syndrome is a self-limiting rash that typically affects children 1-12 years of age. •Symptoms include: pinkish papulovesicular rash over the face, buttocks, and limbs; low-grade fever; sore throat; upper respiratory tract symptoms; and diarrhea. Possible hepatosplenomegaly and lymphadenopathy may be present. •Diagnosis is based on clinical examination. •No treatment is required.
