Abstract
Eine rote Substanz wurde aus einer tanzanianischen Gelbwurzelprobe (Curcuma Tonga L.) isoliert und durch Rontgen-Einkristall-Analyse als Azofarbstoff Sudanrot G (1-(2-Methoxyphenylazo)-2-naphthol) identifiziert. Die Konzentration des Pigments in der Droge war 0,09%, aus UV-spektroskopischen Daten berechnet.
