Abstract

Idiopathic nephrotic syndrome (INS) is the most common glomerular disease in children.1 Steroids, as first-line therapy for INS, have been associated with many side effects. Limiting or preventing the side effects of steroid therapy and identifying other safe and effective treatments for INS are always priorities for nephrologists.
