Abstract

A case of benign cementoblastoma is presented and discussed. The distinctions between this neoplastic problem and inflammatory periapical disease are presented. Successful surgical treatment is illustrated and criteria for case selection are enumerated. It is suggested that extraction may be avoided in appropriately selected cases.
