Abstract
Spontaneous liver rupture mostly occurs in pregnant women with pre-eclampsia and its complications. It is extremely rare. The estimated incidence is between 0.4 and 2.2/100,000 pregnancies [1, 2]. We report a case of successful pregnancy outcome after initial pregnancy complicated by eclampsia and hepatic rupture. To our knowledge, only seven such cases have been reported in the literature to date.
