Abstract

Global population ageing underscores the significance of studying successful ageing. This study aimed to identify factors linked to successful ageing in older adults, focusing on spirituality, physical function, cognitive function, and social support. A cross-sectional study of 425 elderly individuals from eight community health centres in Xiashan District, Guangdong, China, will employ the Successful Ageing Inventory, Spiritual Well-Being Scale, Barthel Index, Mini-Mental State Examination, and Social Support Rating Scale for assessment. Data collection is scheduled from March to June 2024.
