Abstract
ABSTRACT This study presents three cases of endometriosis in cesarean section scars. The main symptom was lower abdominal pain in the region of the scar. The pain was aggravated menstrually. Computed tomography and needle biopsy were of major value in reaching the correct diagnosis. Surgical excision and fascial repair is the definitive treatment. All patients were pain free in the postoperative follow-up visits, which varied from 6 months to 2 1/2 years. (J GYNECOL SURG 12:141, 1996)
