Abstract

The aqueous humor and vitreous humor account for most of the biochemical compounds in the eye. Biochemical processes are also involved in the sensory transduction of the visual system in the retina. Aspects of ocular biochemistry relevant to the aqueous humor, vitreous humor, and retina will be briefly reviewed.
