The microscopic effusions of blood occasionally observed in this condition are accidental or agonal. As, in the case to be reported, the foregoing conditions—childbirth, subacute combined degeneration of the cord and epidural hemorrhages—were combined, a discussion of such an unusual combination will be of interest.
