Abstract
This research paper focus on the consequence of pre corrosion on mechanical properties, fatigue life, microstructure and weight density of Aluminum alloys 8011 because corrosion has emerged biggest reasons for the failure of Aluminum alloy structures. After the pre corrosion of specimens, various tests like tensile test, fatigue test, weight density test and scanning electron microscopy test was performed to compare the mechanical properties and fatigue life of the uncorroded and corroded specimens of Aluminum alloy 8011. Therefore, in this research work influence of the pre corrosion on fatigue life of Aluminum alloy 8011 was done.
