Abstract

In this paper, a fractal model for predicting water vapor diffusion coefficient of hydrophobic fibrous materials is presented. To verify the validity of the model, the predicted results from the fractal model are compared with the experimental data and calculated values from the previous models. It is found that the fractal model predication shows better agreement with the experimental data than the calculated values by previous models.
