Abstract

 The tissue culture technology of Dioscorea bulbifera L. is of great significance for the effective protection and utilization of its germplasm resources. This paper reviews the research progress of tissue culture technology of Dioscorea bulbifera L. with different explants. It introduces the historical development of tissue culture technology of Dioscorea bulbifera L., including early exploration and gradual improvement of modern technology. The paper elaborates various methods and strategies of tissue culture technology of Dioscorea bulbifera L. at present, including research progress in aspects such as explant selection, medium formulation, and application of growth regulators.
