Abstract
According to the actual teaching situation, the mode of mentor-apprentice was built by School of Materials and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal University to improve the quality of undergraduates majoring materials chemistry. It was found that this mode not only can effectively solve the problem of the disconnection between theoretical teaching and practical teaching, and promotes students' spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, but also is beneficial to students' employment and postgraduate entrance examination. Accordingly, the mode of mentor-apprentice is worthy of the study and improvement of teaching staff.
