Study on the Service Evaluation Method for Library Hardware Based on Site Investigation

Abstract

In recent years, the phenomenon of fires in various public facilities can’t be ignored (for example, The Daxing Fire caused serious loss of lives and properties on November 18, 2017 in Beijing). As a densely populated area, libraries have a large amount of flammable books. Therefore, the evaluation of the hardware facilities of the library is especially significant important. In addition to ensuring the efficient use of libraries, the library's hardware facilities also ensure the safety of unexpected disasters such as fires and earthquakes. Based on the actual investigation of library, evaluation methods on library hardware were proposed, and also an example of analysis on library hardware were given, which laid the foundation for the evaluation of library facilities service.
