Abstract

Objective To establish a new teaching model and curriculum of undergraduate preven-tive medicine. Method The new teaching model and curriculum was established based on the results of the questionnaire and the experiences of our teaching practice. Results There were less course hours and more elective courses in the new teaching model and curriculum which concentrated on the cultivation of the students' comprehensive abilities and practical skills. Conclusions The new teaching model and curricu-lum was helpful for the cultivation of preventive medicine talents in the 21st century.
