Abstract

Objective To explore an teaching model that promotes students' autonomous learning,mobilizes students' learning initiative and enthusiasm,cultivates teamwork spirit,and stimulates the teachers' sense of responsibility,so as to promote teaching reform.Methods Student-oriented model of teaching was carried out in the teaching practice of nutrition and food hygiene in the undergraduates of preventive medicine.Assessment was carded out after class according to questionnaire results.Results Most students considered that the present teaching model was better to mobilize learning enthusiasm and initiative,and to understand the knowledge.In addition,students realized that it was a hard work for teachers to prepare a lesson and the development of knowledge was rapid.Conclusions Student-orientated teaching model is better than traditional teaching model in getting good teaching results,and is beneficial to the education of preventive medicine.
