Abstract

In this work, an efficient SrBi4Ti4O15 photocatalyst has been successfully synthesized by the electrospinning method. The photocatalytic activity of SrBi4Ti4O15 was estimated by TC as a simulated pollutant. The results of photocatalytic degradation experiments show that the factors such as catalyst dosage, initial concentration, inorganic salts, and water source can all affect the degradation efficiency of SrBi4Ti4O15 on TC. The active species capture test confirmed that h+ and •O2 - play a key role in the TC degradation progress. This work proposed a new direction for designing efficient catalysts for water pollution treatment using solar energy.
