Abstract

In recent years, visualization technology has a qualitative leap in many application field. The research of interactive processing of information in virtual reality is gradually deepening. Combining 3D visualization system with machine operation could realize the integration of observation in virtual scene and instrumentation in reality. This paper introduces the model that controlls the turning of Pan-Tilt based on the visual change in 3D scene. The model establishes the data connection between the 3D software and the two-degree-of-freedom Pan-Tilt platform , and mainly achieves the analysis and conversion between the data collected by 3D visualization software and the data Pan-Tilt received. The experiments verify that the operation in 3D software can change Pan-Tilt monitor`s movements in real time and make the Pan-Tilt always pointing to the current perspective in 3D scene.
