Abstract

In this paper, the safety evaluation model and limit indexes of a stone arch bridge in the Three Gorges Reservoir region are studied. Specifically, the permanent deformation limit indicators of the bridges are studied; the safety evaluation msodel and limit indexes of a stone arch bridge in Three Gorges Reservoir region are identified based on the practical disease test. A scientific criterion is provided for the vast number of the engineering technical personnel at the grass-roots level to easily and effectively judge if the locally-deformed stone arch bridges can conform to new specifications and requirements, so this study is of important social significance and practical engineering value.
