Abstract

Guojiaping is located in the middle of China's carbonaceous-siliceous-argillite uranium mineralization belt, and its areal position, lithofacies paleogeographic environment and mineralization geological conditions can give a good reflection to its better geological background of uranium mineralization. In this paper, through analysis and comparison on previous prospecting data used in Guojiaping as well as neighboring areas, the characteristics and geological conditions of the uranium mineralization are seriously studied with theory, new technology and new methods. Guojiaping owns an upper Sinian-lower Cambrian stratum, and thus contains rich uranium source, and especially lithological combination favorable for uranium mineralization exists in upper Sinian stratum. In the study area, it is found that a group of approximately parallel NE---NNE fracture structures with equal intervals develops, and also the output of industrial uranium ores is spatially controlled by it.
