Abstract
The purpose of this study is to establish the chinese- korean machine translation system. The study of the machine translation has received relatively little attention from korean scholarship in general, what was worse, that is much neglected branch of chinese linguistics in korea. So far, very little has been done in this direction. BR In this paper I offer a new part-of-speech tagging method for chinese, it can solove ambiguities due to same part-of-speech stream input and make good use of the Corpus. The Constraint-rule is used to select appropriate part - of - speech pattern. BR This study is only a first step, we believe it offers some insight into the problems. There are, however, a number of problems that remain to be explored.BR
