Abstract

The surface resistivity of concrete specimens was tested by quadrupole equidistant method and the resistance to chloride corrosion was also tested using accelerated chloride corrosion method. The variation of surface resistivity and resistance to chloride corrosion with fly ash (FA) amount in concrete was analyzed, and the correlation between surface resistivity and accelerated chloride corrosion was further discussed. The test results showed that there would be a good correlation between accelerated chloride corrosion as well as surface resistivity. The surface resistivity shows a good exponential function trend along of strength and a pretty satisfactory power function trend along of accelerated chloride corrosion. Therefore, it is significant for real project quality control and quickly and non-destructive testing.
