Abstract

To explore the application of case-based problem-based learning (PBL) teaching method in physiological teaching. The clinical cases highly correlated with the theory content of physiology, they were selected and modified physiological case. Case physiology curriculum was launched. Syllabus, teaching plan and teaching step were also designed in order to apply case-based PBL teaching method in teaching prac-tice. The construction of physiological case had been finished which included 35 cases associated with 25 kinds of clinical diseases. Meanwhile, one of the cases had been used to test the application of case-based PBL teaching method. It showed that case based PBL teaching can be applied to the teaching practice of physiology. The effects remain to be studied. Key words: Physiology; Case; Problem-based learning
