Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of health education in the nursing of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods A total of 108 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease who met the inclusion criteria were selected as the research subjects and were divided into the education group and the routine group according to the random number table method, 54 cases of each group.The routine group was given random education method, and the education group was conducted health education method.The knowledge of disease of the two groups were compared, and their satisfaction were investigated. Results The scores of diet, expectoration, oxygen therapy, medication and life knowledge in the education group were significantly higher than those of the routine group. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The former had a higher total score of disease knowledge than the latter, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The difference of patients' satisfaction level data between education group and traditional group was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total satisfaction rate of the education group was 100.00% , which was higher than that of the routine group of 83.33%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions Introduction of healthy education into chronic obstructive pulmonary disease nursing can comprehensively improve patients' cognition and mastery of relevant knowledge of the disease and improve their satisfaction and nursing service quality, which is worthy of clinical application.
