Abstract

Sodium chloride (NaCl), potassium chloride (KCl) and lithium chloride (LiCl) were selected to compound binary mixed chloride salts and ternary mixed chloride salts by static melting method. The experiment is carried out to study the phase transition temperature and phase change latent heat. The results show that the phase transition temperature of binary mixed chloride salt is about 350℃∼355℃. The phase change latent heat maximal value when the mass ratio of KCl and LiCl is 1:1, which is 219.9 J/g. The phase transition temperature of ternary mixed chloride salt is about 350℃. The phase change latent heat maximal value when the mass ratio of NaCl, KCl and LiCl is 1:5:4, which is 189.4 J/g. Two kinds of optimized mixed chloride salts were carried out analyzed by continuous heating and cooling experiments for five times. The results show that the two kinds of mixed chloride salts have good cyclic stability.
