Abstract
Self-insulation wall made of autoclaved aerated concrete has integrated the functions of structure and insulation in one; it has become the focus of the development of outer wall energy-saving technologies. To study the feasibility of the autoclaved aerated concrete block wall in the cold regions, we take one office building in Jinan City as an engineering example, present the construction practices of the self-insulation wall and the thermal bridge, and carry out the numerical simulation analysis of the energy consumption. The results show that autoclaved aerated concrete self-insulation wall meet the office building energy efficiency design standards for cold areas. Based on the analysis of the wall thermal parameter, the optimum thickness of the block masonry and insulating layer of thermal bridge are proposed for engineering designers reference.
