Abstract
Reduced matrix converter is a new type of power converter, which has the characteristics such as small size, light weight, few conversion stages and high reliability. It has a good application prospect in Vehicleto-Grid field. The circuit topology of the reduced matrix converter is introduced and the mathematical model of the system is established in this paper. The direct current control based on power decoupling is used to realize bidirectional flow of energy. At the same time, the PI controller is designed, and the characteristics and stability of the system are analyzed by using the Root locus diagram and Bode diagram. Finally, simulation model is built by MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation results confirm that the system can achieve bidirectional energy flow control under unit power factor and smooth switching between the rectification process and the inversion process.
