Abstract

Magnetic fluids are formed from the solid magnetic particles suspended inside basic carrier fluids. The superparamagentic (SP) particles generate magnetic property when exposed to the magnetic field. The density parameter is essential characteristic for the magnetic fluid, and accurate estimation of magnetic fluid density is critical for the application of magnetic fluid. Hence, we present an appropriate experimental system, capable of investigate the variation of density. The theory about the variation of density is obtained, when magnetic field is varied with current. Then experiential results show that the density can be changed under the variation of magnetic field existed.
