Abstract
Under the effect of the travelling wave magnetic field, the magnetic fluid flux has a direct connection to the magnetic flux density of the external magnetic field according to theory analysis and experiment. The stronger the magnetic flux density of the magnetic field, the more the flux of magnetic fluid. The velocity of magnetic fluid is proportional to the square root of the magnetic flux density. The radial length of permanent magnet, the diameter of rotor and the number of permanent magnet and magnetic fluid's saturation magnetisation affect the distribution of magnetic flux density in the region of magnetic fluid. The higher the velocity of magnetic fluid, the bigger the saturation of magnetic intensity of magnetic fluid, radius width of the permanent magnet and the number of permanent magnets. When the magnetic fluid's saturation magnetisation and the stator are same, velocity of magnetic fluid and rotor diameter are smaller.
