Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Pevisone combined with tanshinone in the treatment of facial seborrheic dermatitis. Methods 120 cases of facial seborrheic dermatitis were randomly divided into two groups. Control group (n=60) was treated with Pevisone ointment, observation group (n=60) was treated with Pevisone and tanshinone, the course of treatment of two groups was 4 weeks. The degree of skin lesions before and after treatment, efficacy, and adverse reactions in two groups were observed. Results The total efficiency in observation group was 96.7%, and higher than 83.4% in control group, with statistically significant difference (P 0.05), the scores of itching, scaling, erythema, the total score of skin lesions in two groups significantly decreased after treatment, the extent of reduction in observation group was significantly greater, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group (6.7% vs.16.7%), with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion Pevisone ointment combined with tanshinone in the treatment of facial seborrheic dermatitis has remarkable curative effect, safe and reliable, which is worth promotion and application in clinical.
