Abstract

Structure, microstructure, dielectric, and piezoelectric properties of PZT-based hard piezoceramics PCR-8 sintered by different methods were studied. It is shown that hot pressing and spark plasma sintering contribute to an increase in the ceramics density and improve their functional parameters, as well as lower sintering temperature. The optimal technological conditions for the mass manufacturing of the piezoceramics with enhanced dielectric and piezoelectric properties are determined. The obtained experimental results are discussed and the prospects for the application of the considered technological methods are outlined.
