Abstract
The energy and squared absolute value of the wave function of the ground state of 6, 7, 9, 10Be nuclei are calculated using Feynman path integrals in a model of interaction between alpha clusters and external nucleons. The values of energy are in good agreement with experimental data. The presence of a 3He cluster in the structure of 7Be nucleus is demonstrated. Calculations using the shell model of a deformed nucleus are also performed for 7, 9, 10Be nuclei. Both models help explain the negative value of the parameter of the quadrupole deformation of 7Be nuclei and the positive value of the parameter of the quadrupole deformation of 9, 10Be nuclei.
