Abstract
One of the main tools used to study the technological processes of waste gases purification from metallurgical production is physical simulation. The problems of large-scale transitions that arise in the course of such a study can be circumvented by conducting experiments on industrial and (or) semi-industrial units. The article presents possible options for reduction of emissions of chlorine-containing components, taking into account the chemistry of the reactions occurring throughout the entire operational cycle of neutralization.
