Abstract
The central and western regions of Inner Mongolia is a high activity area of sandstorm in northern China, each year there regions are seriously affected by sandstorm. In order to effectively reduce and control sandstorm disasters, this paper studied the sandstorm in there regions, and proposes the causes, moving path, the time distribution and geographical distribution characteristic, disaster performance of the sandstorm, and proposes measures to prevent and treat sandstorm.
