Abstract

The temperature dependence of the intensity ΔI N ( T) and half-width G N ( T) of the narrow component of the correlation curve in PTFE was obtained experimentally at temperatures of 77–550°K. Using results approximating a rectangular infinitely deep potential well and a spherical well of finite depth, the radius and depth of potential well were calculated. It was found that these characteristics are not a linear function of temperature, but vary in a complex manner with an increase of temperature.
