Among non-infectious disease, Metabolic Syndrome is one of the most important one. It is defined as a constellation of an interconnected physiological, biochemical, clinical, and metabolic factors that directly increases the risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, T2DM.2In a number of recent studies, it was reported that among the changes in pulmonary function, deterioration in pulmonary function is related to hypertension, type 2 diabetes, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, overall obesity, abdominal obesity and insulin resistance.[4]
