Abstract
The article is aimed at studying regional innovation ecosystems on the basis of intellectual analysis of data on firms' innovative development. The authors developed a methodology for modelling and exploring the innovative potential and investment appeal of regional firms. The goal of the proposed methodology is to reduce transaction costs on innovative actors' interaction and to increase the effectiveness of their innovation activities. To achieve the research objective, it is necessary to solve the tasks of collecting data on innovation activities of enterprises in the regions, to develop methods for assessing their innovative potential, to synthesise forecasting models of innovative development. The methodology utilises the tools of the informational and analytical platform with the flow architecture of the data collection and integration system and the convergent mechanism for big data processing. The objective is to support decision-making and management of innovative processes in the regions.
