Abstract
The authors studied the primary photochemical processes and the electron donor-acceptor properties of chlorophyll a and carbon tetrachloride by using kinetic absorption and EPR spectroscopy. The induced absorption spectra were studied on lamp and laser pulsed photolysis systems. The EPR spectra were recorded on an E-12 radiospectrometer. The pulsed photoexcitation of chlorophyll a in carbon tetrachloride led to substantial changes in the absorption in the visible spectra.
