Abstract

Compatibility problems in obtaining of composite materials are proposed to be eliminated by preliminary metallization of the carbon component and an application of a combined technological scheme of solid-phase diffusion of the aluminum matrix. The contact wetting angle is experimentally estimated, which allowed the selection of the coating composition for the most effective metallization at the preparatory stages of the desired composite material. The surface of carbon fibers is studied by the scanning electron microscopy. Studies of the structure of experimental samples made it possible to establish the possibility for obtaining of aluminum-matrix materials of the selected composition.
