Abstract

In this paper the study of existance of non-statistical fluctuations using the method of scaled factorial, Fq, moments (SFMs) has been utilized to probe the distribution of relativistic shower particles produced in 28 Si -emulsion collisions at 14.6 A GeV. The analysis indicates that the anomalous fractal dimension, dq, does not favour the origin of any exotic phenomenon. Finally, our data do not show a clear evidence for the existence of non-thermal phase transitions.
