Abstract

This paper presents a study of the effects (thermal and dielectric) of the harmonic pollution caused by compact lamps on synchronous generators that supply the emergency generation system. In small and large establishments, the diesel generator set is triggered in the absence of local power, serving as priority loads and often the generator is limited to the lighting system.
