Abstract
1. Investigation of the vibration modes and frequencies of a gear by the holographic method with broad variation in its geometric parameters made it possible from the practical standpoint to construct a system from resonance with respect to a three-node diametric vibration mode in the working range of engine rpm. 2. The experimental data cited make it possible to evaluate the accuracy of existing methods of computation, and also to correct them to obtain valid mathematical models.
